The Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) made several amendments to its AML Guidelines and the implementation of a national strategy to combat money laundering to strengthen compliance.

As part of its continuing efforts to tighten the Philippines’ anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) regime, the AMLC has released crucial updates to its guidelines, while the Office of the President has issued a compelling order for all government agencies, with the cooperation of the private sector, to prioritize the urgent implementation of the National Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, and Counter-Proliferation Financing Strategy (NACS).

The strict and immediate implementation of National Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, and Counter Proliferation Financing Strategy (NACS).
